You must send a copy of your CPR certification card to the New Hampshire Bureau of EMS. All other licensing requirements for certification must be met prior to final authorization.

This license application is free and will need to be submitted with a legible photocopy of your NREMT card. Once the courses and NREMT tests have been completed and you have received your certification documentation from the National Registry you may complete and submit a New Hampshire EMS Provider Application. There is no percentage score given at the end of the EMT test, but you may be given preliminary results at the testing center. This can be accomplished in as few as 70 questions or as many as 150. You have 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the exam. This exam is not adaptive, but will deliver the exact same percentages of questions per category as the real NREMT exam. It will also deliver questions one at a time just as the NREMT exam does. The EMT candidate will answer questions one by one until the application has determined that the test taker has either passed or failed. This simulation will be timed based on your level of testing. The length of the computer based test is not specified.
